CIED Advanced Poster Series – ISIS Devices: Booby Trapped RC Receiver Firing Device

This new series of posters available utilizes the most up-to-date information on the IEDs and components used by ISIS.

Developed by R.C. Gravett, these designs include photography of the real devices as well as detailed hand-drawn sketches.

Each poster is printed on 18″ x 24″ heavy-duty laminated sheets.

“These devices were found in the Katla Grain Silo and many other locations around NE Syria after ISIS had been evicted by the Kurdish/FSA Forces. ISIS utilise these RC Devices as a remote targeting, Command initiated firing device with devastating effects. By potting the electronics in waterproof plastic containers, they ensure the device remains viable even after bad weather. Often the only visible indicator is the lacquered copper wire antenna and with the addition of the PIR Sensor as an anti-handling switch, these are a formidable device.”
