Mechanical Washing Machine Timer IED Arming Switch

These timers, also referred to as a “Dewatering Timer” have been modified to use as a “safe separation” arming switch.
Before deploying an IED, this device would be set for a time of up-to five minutes. While the timer is counting down the main IED switch cannot be activated, allowing the persons placing the IED a delayed time to distance themselves from the charge’s blast radius.
